Bill and Virginia Gafford were both able to retire this year.  Please wish them well as they set out to enjoy traveling and family.  Bill is looking forward to catching up on all that fishing he has missed out on over the years.

    While he will not be overseeing daily operations, Bill will continue to be retained as an operational consultant.  Because he is one of the most knowledgeable beekeepers I have ever met, Bill will play a key role as we continue to expand our efforts to meet the demand for quality queens and package bees. According to Bill, “I may be out of the package business, but I will always be in beekeeping.”

   Bill Gafford has been one of the most generous beekeepers I have ever worked with; giving three generations of beekeeping knowledge to novice and expert alike. Along with others, I keep asking our dear friend and mentor when he is going to start writing that book!
